In week four, instructor Bill Perkins will teach you the importance of tone within a composition. He will demonstrate how tone can give an artwork mood and clarity. You will look at his portfolio and examples from other artists to understand the power of tone. You will also learn to create passages and areas of contrast to move the viewer’s eye through your artwork.

Throughout this course, you’ll have access to the NMA community for feedback and critiques to improve your work as you progress.
