In week 12, instructor Amy Florence will take the half-body portrait painting with hands to completion. You will watch her refine areas like the background, chair, blouse, and hands before she revisits the head to add final touches. Amy will teach you how to use each element in the painting as a design tool to help drive the viewer’s eyes to the focal point; the portrait. 

Throughout this course, you’ll have access to the NMA community for feedback and critiques to improve your work as you progress.
