In week six, instructor Joseph Todorovich will demonstrate how to set up a model pose inspired by master paintings. You will learn how to direct the model to achieve a particular feel. Joseph will show you two ways of creating studies for his figure paintings. You will be making a construction drawing to study the figure anatomy and a value study that simplifies value grouping.

Throughout this course, you’ll have access to the NMA community for feedback and critiques to improve your work as you progress.
