In week two, instructor Steve Huston will start by analyzing the uses of line and shape in famous masterworks. Then, you will learn about depth of field and how it helps draw the viewer’s eye into the image. Steve will explain how color keying can set the mood for a piece of art. Lastly, you will examine the visual components of more masterworks to deepen your understanding of composition.
Throughout this course, you’ll have access to the NMA community for feedback and critiques to improve your work as you progress.
You do not need to purchase specific materials to take this course.
We have included a materials list as recommendation only.
