In week three, instructor John Frye will unravel designing vehicle forms, starting with basic shapes, like transforming a box into a vehicle. Emphasizing the importance of proportions and movement axes, John demonstrates how even simple shapes can hint at familiar vehicle forms. The lesson covers techniques to suggest movement and life in designs, such as angling forms and adding volumes. You will explore how different shapes evoke various impressions, from robustness to sleekness, and learn to integrate wheels and other elements into your vehicle designs. John will demonstrate how to craft and manipulate various shapes into vehicle concepts.
