In this lesson, you will learn how to draw the most mobile and complex part of the body, the arms, as they connect to the egg-like ribcage. Instructor Glenn Vilppu will teach you an anatomical approach to constructing the arms while lecturing on their relationship with the shoulder girdle.
This lesson belongs to the course Intermediate Anatomy Drawing. In this 5-week course, living master draftsman Glenn Vilppu will walk you through the lessons on human anatomy and show you how to draw each body part with confidence. You will learn an approach to drawing the figure that emphasizes the anatomical forms to describe each pull, twist, and turn accurately. Not only does this course give you a better understanding of the human body, but it prepares you for more in-depth anatomical study in the future. You will gain knowledge of anatomy based on gesture, form, and the dynamics of the living figure.
Throughout this course, you’ll have access to the NMA community for feedback and critiques to improve your work as you progress.
