Thank you Lucas! 🙂 Have fun drawing!
Hi ZHI SU, loved your colored works! I guess I have the problem in reverse: I tend to lose interest once the problem is tackled and not have enough perseverance developing it into its finest. We are all challenging our weaknesses and that’s the fun part of the journey, isn’t it? 🙂 Thank you for your advice and good luck with your works!
Thank you Cecilia! I will practice in developing the gestures into more completed drawings. The challenge will always be keeping the life flow with more lines and tones are added. Glad you drop by and good luck with your challenges!
Don’t know if anyone has the same problem: whenever I start copying, my drawings become stiff. I feel that I draw mostly based on intuition at this stage, like whatever feels right… My challenge now is how to combine knowledge, intuition and observation into one expressive picture. It may come with practices one day. I’m still lacking many skills.
Day 21:
Did a self-portrait today and it exposed so many shortcomings..Maybe it will be fun to look back and laugh at it one day in the future. It has a positive meaning though – it’s a pose about two things that I always do before drawing: “rolling up my sleeves” and “tying up my hairs”, ready for the challenges.
Thanks Joshua :)! It’s always nice seeing your encouraging words!
