Day 18 – I want to get used to using a graphics tablet (I default to ipad) so I’m going to do some of the 100 Day Challenge on my laptop.
Day 16 – went back drawing from pinterest photos. While I feel a bit more confident, the drawings leave a lot of room for improvement.
I will try slowing down and spending more time on one portrait and see if it changes anything.
Day 15: the 2nd drawing doesn’t really look like the person from the reference photo. Following along with the vide Portrait on Ochre Toned paper
Day 14: continuing with the Renaissance Head Drawing class. It will be interesting to see how my drawings look without following along with Glenn 😂.
Day 12 – I followed along with Glenn in the Lesson 3 Demo of Renaissance Head Drawing class. Real test will be trying to do this on my own
11/100 – back to pencil drawings. Frustrated with how the shape of the head are coming along. Everything looks off even though I refer back to my notes form the class. It is really so much easier to draw on the iPad. I’ll keep practicing
Day 10 – working from imagination for the portrait. I used reference for the horse but changed the angle a little bit (Dynamic Sketching class paying off!). What I’m having a lot of trouble is coordinating the colors. I really need to study colors and values more.

8/100 – I switched to digital for today. It was much easier compared to previous attempts with pencils
