Congrats on completing your 100 Day Challenge!! It is a great accomplishment no matter how long it takes.
Jan! I’ll have to tune in one of these Friday’s to Glenn’s sessions. I have been meaning to but somehow never get to it. Great work on your Master Monday’s Eyes and the re-doing of the first assignment – great proportions (mine came out anorexic…lol) ! Joshua will be back for a session beginning of May and will be critiquing again. I hope to get one of the extra credit ones in….hopefully. Thank you!!…my initial lay-ins never turn out how I want them….requires adjusting all the way till the end.
Hi Jan! Nice to see you again! Thank you…it’s a work in progress though I feel more confident than day 1! Things are starting to click a bit better. I haven’t been doing any Master Monday assignments. I think once I am done with this challenge (and Russian course) I’ll go back and attempt some. Revisit those controlled hatch marks so I don’t forget them! I am so focused on getting through this Russian course…will probably skip the remaining anatomy (legs, torso, arms) but go through the portraits and drapery.
I am actually glad we had a bit of a break from Season 1 but also looking forward to Joshua’s anatomy sessions and getting back into Anatomy Mondays or Fridays or Saturdays! That’s going to be quite the task & commitment (when we can) but we will all learn so much just like in Season 1. And yes, I am glad they are putting all these sessions in the archives on NMA so that we can have access to them at our leisure. I haven’t done any Fridays with Glenn but may go through some of those at some point.
Jan, enjoy your travels! And sketching and learning…there is sooo much and time just flies!
