    Had a private in person art lesson today from a local instructor. Went over a simplified approach for making a drawing appear to be in perspective and talked about center of symmetry vs center of perspective. Going to brush up on those concepts tonight. Will return to head or figure drawing tomorrow

    Day 67 I’ve been wanting to paint a portrait of the Russian politician Alexei Navalny. I didn’t quite hit the likeness, but I’m still pleased with it, given that I haven’t drawn many portraits. Still lots to learn, and looking forward to it!

    Day 68 I do enjoy the life drawing sessions, as long as the poses aren’t full of awkward foreshortening. Feeling like there is some progress in my drawings overall.

    Day 70 I’ve returned to Art Anatomy for beginners. 2 minute poses. I don’t mind doing them, but I really hate posting them. I do see some improvements though compared to when I first started
