Vehicle Concept Design Day 1

On day one, Michal Kuś will focus on drawing basic forms in space using simple perspective grids. These basic shapes are often used in vehicle design. Michal will demonstrate how drawing multiple sets of geometric shapes from multiple angles can provide you with the ability to communicate our vehicle designs in space effectively and clearly. You will learn how we perceive the world in a 3-dimensional manner; and how we can make out forms effectively when we view them from a certain angle, where the front, side, and top of the object are visible.

Join renowned concept artist Michal Kuś in a 5-day intensive Live Class focusing on vehicle concept design. In this class, you will develop a strong foundation for drawing fundamentals, skills that every successful concept artist needs to succeed in their field. Michal will focus on the awareness and thorough study of how real-world vehicles are designed and how these designs are visually perceived through function and the aesthetical aspect. You will gain a solid foundation to pursue vehicle concept design seriously. This class will run for five consecutive days; you will then have an assignment to complete. Then, Michal will hop in to critique the submitted work in the NMA discord.

To submit for critiques please fill out the submissions form located here. Please only submit assignments from the current day’s Live Class, all late assignments will be submitted through email after the five (5) intensive class is over.
