Self-portrait in Watercolor

That’s a self-portrait I did a few years ago in watercolour, it is part of a set with portraits of my two sisters.

It was an awesome experience, and I felt really motivated by this project. It was one of the first paintings that I took to a finished level.

I want to do another one soon, probably in oils.

Hello Isabella, I love these delicate portraits. Lovely colors that make each one stand out, and look cohesive all together at the same time. Wonderful inspiration with a lot of attention in the execution. I want to try oils someday also. The oil portrait course here is a constant reminder haha

Hi Kat, thank you so much for your lovely comment! Those portraits are very special to me.☺
I’m excited to start the oil portrait course as soon as I can take time and arrange some space. I find oils a bit messy to work with, and I feel I have to make a good setup before starting, to make things more practical afterward.
