Day 88

I feel like I’m finished enough with this portrait. Now I need to go back and redo some of the past assignments before moving forward.

Day 89

I’m looking forward to completing this wonderful challenge. I feel like I’ll have a little more time to interact with others on this site. I will still make stuff every day, but I hope to have more time to support other artists with comments and critiques. The following is a work in progress – mouth casts from several angles.

Day 90

I had an unexpected day off today, which was great. I got some life stuff done, and also turned my entire living room into a studio. My “living room” is now in the dining room and my dining room (well, the little table anyway) is in my bedroom. I gave myself an easel for Christmas, so that’s what inspired the mini-reno. I won’t ever end up in Better Homes and Gardens (is that still a thing?) but I love my space!

Day 91

The home stretch! I am so loving having all these days off to work on my art and myself. I want to cry when I think about going back to work. So I’m choosing not to think about it for 2 more days. I’m finished with the lips. Now it’s on to noses!

Day 92

Today I got a little further wit’ dem noses. One more day of lovely joy, then it’s back to the routine. I plan to thoroughly enjoy my Sunday!

The main one I’m taking is the Russian Academic Drawing class.

Day 93

Nothin’ but noses. Happy to be done with that particular exercise. Now it’s either ears or eyes, not sure which one I’m going to do first.

Day 94

I’m starting on the eyes now. This is my final week on this challenge. I worked on all my New Year’s resolutions over the holiday, so I’m ready for the next phase.
