Portrait sketch (Open Critique request)

Hi

Just finished with Chris Legaspi‘s Basic head drawing/ portrait drawing lessons and put it to practice. Worked with tinted charcoal pencils on toned strathmore paper.  I guess to begin with I could have used a light tinted paper as the mid tones have got lost because of that. Also I feel the likeness with model is missing, guess missed out on some proportion / distance between forehead and corner of the eye. Looking forward to critique and suggestions to improve further.
