    Hi Simon!!! Thanks for your kind words and sorry for the delay in my answer. Lately I’m not posting here after starting on Discord.

    I didn’t follow any course to mix grahite and sanguine, I just tried it by myself in order to get darker details. There is a technique called The Three Crayon that uses Charcoal, Sanguine and Chalk but it’s not exactly what I’m trying.

    My sketches of David are in a 11 x 14” Sketchbook. I just get them into this size, about 9 x 11”.

    Impressive work! I really like the portrait of Mather on Day 6, the Day 12 skull, and the study of Kevin on Day 14. I love your rendering technique and how you used just enough detail to express what’s essential. I’ve been working on some of the same type of studies and your drawings definitely motivate me to keep improving!
