kays 100 days of painting

I  want to get better at painting in general.

I plan to paint in watercolor, oil or acrylic every day for the next 100 days.

I cant pin myself down to just ONE medium or topic.

Figure painting and drawing is what I am working on at the moment in oil so I will kick my challenge off with a painting I finished this morning, a class taken with charles Hu.

I  hope to get much better at figure drawing by the end of the year.

Here is a mixed media piece I tried this morning.

I am having such a hard time with watercolor an figures.

I see green or blue in the skin, but it NEVER looks right when I paint them.I hope to see someone do a watercolor figure painting class somewhere soon.

 

please feel free to offer tips, hints an suggestions, I am in need.

I tried to follow charlie hus lesson on zorn pallette, STILL not having a good time of it.

I am so close, I get so frustrated.
