I find it hard to provide any valuable or useful comments, apologies. Regardless, it’s great watching the drawing evolve.
It’s interesting to see that you’ve mapped out the geometry of the figure in perspective. I’m inspired to refresh myself on perspective and anatomy! I almost always draw from life, so the idea of drawing from imagination is daunting – but I can imagine if you have a scaffolding of anatomy understanding it’s much easier. Love seeing your sketches, and looking forward to more!

In this case I am working it out as I go. When I know what all the figures and elements are doing I will make final decisions.
Dana, I am using a little bit of perspective, not much. Those lines are there to help me figure out how the light would be hitting the form which is one of the most difficult parts of working from imagination.
Day 8: I spent today’s session playing with tone and trying to establish a mood. I will return to structure again tomorrow.This is very cool. You work in a completely different way than I ever have. It’s giving me new ideas on how to design a picture. That’s EXACTLY what I need. It’s wonderful getting new ideas and methods from you and the other artists doing this challenge! I’m really impressed that your doing these form imagination!
Day 9: I sort of took today off. Was feeling burnt out and definitely didn’t feel like drawing but I did anyway. Not sure exactly where the design of this new character came from.
