In this lesson, instructor Catherine Bobkoski will teach you the fundamentals needed to create a powerful still-life painting. You will learn how to color mix and play with paint application. Catherine will teach you an overview of the basic procedures so you can approach your artwork with a clear, logical progression. Along the way, Catherine will provide critiques and helpful advice as you progress through the class.

Catherine will guide you through the fundamentals of painting still life in oil. You will explore color mixing and paint application by painting a variety of interesting objects and materials. Catherine will guide you through observing and painting fruits and vegetables, patterned objects, glass, and metal; as well as flowers. Along the way, Catherine will provide critiques and helpful advice as you progress through the class.
