In this lesson, instructor Catherine Bobkoski will teach you the fundamentals needed to create a powerful still-life painting. You will learn how to color mix and play with paint application. Cathrine will teach you an overview of the basic procedures so you can approach your artwork with a clear, logical progression. Along the way, Catherine will provide critiques and helpful advice as you progress through the class.

October 28, 2021 at 10:21 am #1876453Hi Marlene, check the materials list for more information 🙂
8″ x 10″ up to 11″ x 14″
(20.3cm x 25.4cm up to 27.9cm x 35.5cm)October 30, 2021 at 10:05 pm #1889514Thanks Daniel! I found the Materials list a few evenings ago. Can you clarify something else? Introduction to Still Life is listed as a ‘live’ class which takes place on Mondays @ 3;30PM. I assumed I was 1 week behind the “live” class as I started on Monday 10/25 (as opposed to 10/18). But I noticed that Catherine is teaching a “live’ sketch booking class also on Mondays at 3:30. Is the still life class being offered currently through the videos of the last session alone or is Catherine available for lessons/questions in the current session. Thanks in advance for your help!
November 1, 2021 at 9:08 am #1898911Hi Marlene, live.nma.art is broken up between “current live classes” and “previous live classes” the previous live classes have already transpired.
To be clear, the sketch booking class is the current class. 🙂 I hope this helps
November 6, 2021 at 10:24 pm #1912170Thanks for clarifying Daniel. I appreciate your responses. I was a bit confused by the label “live” for classes in prior periods.
They differ from the other recorded classes in that these videos contain a “live” audience that submitted questions during each lesson.
I’m sure I can learn quite a bit just by watching the prior videos. Thanks again!
