    Greetings!

This will be my space for the result of my learning in “Introduction to Animal Anatomy” by Joe Weatherly

Starting off: Here is my homework and ‘study-notes’ for Lesson 1 & 2.

    Following along the lecture:

After that, I did my own sketches. Trying to internalize everything of the lecture with the Tombstone-shape for the horse’s chest etc…
Also tried studying the skeleton to find some more useful shapes.

You make it look so easy! Beautiful work. Makes me want to change courses.

@Natasha: Thank you for your kind words! It is a great course thus far and its starting to feel less daunting to draw animals.

Some more felines, house cats and bobcats. I decided to have a little fun and experimented with different ways to drawing them to incorporate some style-exploration with the course-work.

And just because the course has moved on doesn’t mean I get to forget about horses! Here’s a bigger drawing I made for fun and to incorporate what I’ve learned. Im thinking of doing some imaginative work with horses too, hope everyone is as stoked as I am.
