Here To Learn

Never did I believe I’d really be any good at art, I didn’t ever consider the possibility that I could draw anything more than a disappointment in my eyes. A few years ago, that changed when reading Betty Edward’s Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain and realizing that it was not a magical talent presented at birth, but a trade to be learned and honed over time. It was not magic, just the work of the hand, the eye, and the brain. Since then, I have been working to learn and to improve and now I find that a day doesn’t pass where I am not proud of myself and what I have done. I am here to learn more and cannot wait to see what the future and my practice will hold for me.
