Hello from Buffalo

Hello everyone,

I retired 5 years ago after being an Industrial Designer for 40+ years. My wife and I moved to Buffalo NY to watch our 2 grandsons grow. Initially I was skeptical about Buffalo but have found it to be a vibrant city with an equally vibrant art scene. I love figure drawing and find it to be meditative for me. As a senior I was able to audit figure courses at the University at Buffalo. It was great to be able to work from a model again, unfortunately that has been suspended due to the virus. One of the best aspects of this was having another trained eye to crit my drawings. I’ve been an NMA member for six months now and have not taken advantage of the forums, I expect that to change.
