In week one, Ben teaches you the three main concepts of interior painting. You will learn how to make value and color studies, and explore the importance of perspective in this genre of painting.
In week two, Ben begins his first session of painting an interior scene. You will watch him develop the composition for the scene, using of two-point perspective. Then, you will learn how to quickly block in the first layer of colors on your painting.
In week three, Ben spends a second session completing his interior painting. You will learn how to further achieve value contrast and add finishing touches to your painting.
In week four, Ben begins his first session of another interior painting. You will learn to develop a well-balanced composition. Ben will teach you how to utilize color and value studies during the beginning stage of painting an interior scene.
In week five, Ben spends a second session finishing up last week’s interior painting. You will learn how to make adjustments on value and color after coming back to the painting with fresh eye. Ben will also teach you his technique on creating atmospheric perspective.
