Modeling the Portrait in Clay for Beginners

In this course World-renowned Austrian Sculptor Johanna Schwaiger will teach you how to model/sculpt a life-size portrait sculpture using water-based clay. Johanna's step-by-step instructions will leave nothing out of the process. Johanna will teach you what materials you need, how to block in your portrait, how to grow your forms from the inside-out, how to ensure accuracy and likeness in your work, and how to resolve and render form. You will develop a sense of the underlying structure of the head and neck.
