Portrait rendering of Raven (DC) – Digital

Truth be told I feel like it’s a little over-rendered for the style (I prefer a more comic/realism approach to the big eyes, tiny nose of a lot of animation) and that I could have probably gotten a nicer all around image with less detailing. Far from an accomplished charcoal/graphite work on toned paper – this was more of a gesture that evolved until I finally decided to make it into a character.
