Done in photoshop. Her hair might be too stiff, critics are welcome.

    Hey Max!

    I think she’s beautiful!

Here are the two things that I noticed upon first glance: her right eyebrow (the left of the painting)  seems to fade before it goes into deeper shadow. It just makes her look like her eyebrow isn’t fully there.

Second,  I think the green in the corners of her eyes is really cool,  but it’s a little too attention grabbing. Maybe consider toning that green down a little bit?

I hope this helps! Thanks for sharing this!

    Hey. Great job, congrats!

If you want more realism, you should try adding some blushing on the cheeks, the tip of the nose and eyelids (the lower eyelids in particular). These blushes add a lot of realism, because they imply that there’s blood running under this person’s skin. Again, make them very subtle.

Using a variety of brushes and textures make it look a lot more realistic as well.

For example, try picking the blurring tool and blurring the cheeks (and some other softer areas of the skin. But not all of it, leave some areas a bit “rough”, so that there’s some subtle contrasts of texture on her face). This is a very easy technique and add so much to a portrait that it’s amazing.

Again, congratulations on this one, and keep up the effort. ✍💪🏻
